Croydon is the home of London’s first airport and remains a site of major historical and architectural significance. It is known as the starting point for Amy Johnson’s record-breaking flight, the birthplace of air traffic control and Britain’s gateway to the first international air routes across Europe, Asia and Australia. Today it houses a unique museum and visitors’ centre.
The Work
The Trust chose Bare PR to increase awareness of the Airport in London and the South East, increase visitors to the museum and improve engagement with their members through a new, rebranded newsletter.
- Scheduled media campaign promoting the RAF Centenary, First World War project and rare art exhibition.
- Rebranded member newsletter with improved content and design and imagery throughout.

- A 100% pick up on all stories leading to 70% increase in media coverage.
- Museum became number 1 on Trip Advisor.
- Visitor numbers hit record levels.
