We are proud to have worked on a really exciting new project these last few months to launch a UK brand for SMEs – the UK’s StartUp Partner. From the proposition to the name, it has been a privilege to work with leading businesswoman and one of the UK’s top 50 advisors, Lee Lam, to help realise her vision.
Since lockdown, more people have set up new businesses than ever before. Nearly a 30% increase on the same period last year. With unemployment rising and the start of a recession, being your own boss can offer a different opportunity to generate income, and a brand-new career.
But, the thing is, most people embark on a new business without any guidance or support. It’s not something we learn at school, and there’s no ready-made handbook to follow. Lots of people take a leap of faith and sadly the vast majority will fail in their first year.
The UK’s StartUp Partner aims to help beat the odds for small businesses and increase the survival rate. It offers unique, affordable, pay as you go support on every aspect of running a business from a team of expert partners. The things you need to know, and the things you definitely need to avoid. A much-needed service that fills a critical gap.
We will also be working with Ikea and the UK’s StartUp Partner on a brand-new partnership that will help businesses thrive. The Bright Ideas Business Lab will launch in store bringing something different to the shopping experience. This is set to change the way we think about retail and what it can offer to consumers.
Founder Lee has already featured in The Metro, LBC radio, BBC Radio, Business Daily, London Loves Business and London TV, and the UK’s StartUp Partner is definitely one to watch.
You can check them out from their new website and read about some of the other case studies we have been working on. Summer is traditionally a busy time in the PR and marketing industry and despite the pandemic, this year has been no different! We are proud to be helping businesses thrive in this new environment, whether that is pivoting, launching a new venture or helping clients review and change their marketing strategy.
